Tragic Shooting Occurs in Waldorf, Maryland
WALDORF, Md. – In a distressing incident that took place on the evening of March 16, police were called to the 11300 block of Snow Owl Place in Waldorf following reports of gunshots. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim inside a vehicle with gunshot wounds.
Despite the efforts of emergency medical services, the victim, identified as 18-year-old Jayden Samari Reed from Waldorf, tragically succumbed to his injuries. Initial investigations suggest that the shooting took place during a suspected drug transaction, leading to the fatal outcome for Reed and injuring another individual who was present at the scene.
The injured individual is currently receiving treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
