In a heartwarming display of courage and quick thinking, five University of Georgia students have been hailed as heroes after saving three people from a potentially tragic accident in Sardis, Georgia. The incident occurred on a fateful Friday when a white SUV veered off the road and plunged into Brier Creek, sparking a chain of events that would test the students’ bravery.

Courageous Act of Bravery
Upon witnessing the SUV careen off the road and into the creek, the students sprang into action without a moment’s hesitation. They immediately turned their vehicle around, rushed to the crash site, and leaped into the water to rescue the trapped individuals. The driver and two children were swiftly pulled to safety, thanks to the selfless and quick actions of these remarkable young women.
The Burke County Sheriff’s Office commended the students for their exceptional bravery, stating, “The quick thinking and bravery of these women is absolutely admirable. We are grateful you were in the right place at the right time.”
