Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered that the driver of one vehicle had tragically passed away following a collision with a USPS truck. The driver of the striking vehicle was travelling east on Hull Street when they ran a red light and collided with the USPS truck, which was heading south on Commerce Road.
The impact of the crash caused the striking vehicle to tip over on its side, hitting a fire hydrant and veering off the road. The driver, identified as an adult male, lost his life at the scene, and the Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
