The Tragic Accident in Southeast D.C.

In a devastating turn of events, a fatal traffic crash occurred in Southeast D.C. on Thursday night, leaving a man dead and a woman injured. The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is currently investigating the incident that took place at the intersection of 25th St. and Alabama Avenue.

The Incident Details

According to reports, the tragic accident unfolded around 10:15 p.m. when a man and woman were driving a Hyundai Accent and entered the intersection at the same time a stolen Volkswagen Golf was speeding down Alabama Avenue. The Volkswagen collided with the Hyundai, causing both occupants of the Hyundai to be ejected from the vehicle.

Tragically, the male driver, identified as 27-year-old Steven Jermaine Faison, Jr. of Southeast D.C., lost his life at the scene. The female passenger was rushed to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
