A tragic incident unfolded in a residential apartment located in the Baloch Colony area, where the lifeless body of a female doctor was discovered on Saturday. The area, known for its bustling streets and vibrant community, was shocked by the news of the young doctor’s untimely demise.
Authorities were alerted, and both the Baloch Colony police and rescue workers swiftly responded to the scene. The body was carefully transported to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for further examination and identification. The deceased woman was identified as 28-year-old Sherry, the daughter of Shamon Gul, who had dedicated her life to serving as a doctor.
Investigations revealed that the body was found hanging from a ceiling fan in the apartment, leading authorities to suspect that the woman had taken her own life. SHO Naeem Rajput shared that the woman’s father had informed the police about her mental struggles, citing job-related stress as a contributing factor to her tragic decision.
With the formalities underway, the police delved deeper into the case to determine the exact cause of death. The post-mortem report would provide crucial insights into the circumstances surrounding the young doctor’s passing.
