Accident – Death – Obituary News :

The Unexpected Birth at the Hospital

Anastasia lay in the hospital bed, surrounded by beeping machines and sterile white walls. The air was filled with the scent of antiseptic, and the room felt cold and clinical. She was alone, except for the comforting presence of Deagol, who sat beside her, reading a book.

As she awoke from the haze of drugs that had kept her from remembering the birth, Anastasia felt a surge of emotions. She had given birth to a child, a son, but he was not with her. The nurses had informed her that he had been taken to another ward due to an illness.

Deagol explained to her that her son was suspected of having spinal meningitis, a condition that would pass within a week. Despite the reassurance, Anastasia’s heart ached for her child. She longed to hold him, to comfort him, to be his mother.

Deagol, sensing her turmoil, offered her words of comfort and support. He urged her to see her son, even if she had decided to give him up for adoption. Reluctantly, Anastasia agreed, her mind filled with conflicting emotions.

As Deagol wheeled her through the hospital corridors, Anastasia’s thoughts raced. She felt a mix of love, fear, and regret. She knew that she couldn’t be a part of her son’s life, that her research and studies were too important to sacrifice.

When they reached the room where her son lay, Anastasia’s heart clenched. She saw the innocence in his eyes, the vulnerability of a newborn child. But she also saw the future, the potential for greatness, the burden of expectations.

In that moment, Anastasia made a decision. She couldn’t be a mother to her son. She couldn’t let her emotions cloud her judgment. She couldn’t allow herself to be swayed by sentimentality.

“Get me out of here,” she whispered, her voice filled with determination. She knew what she had to do, no matter how hard it was. She had to focus on her research, on her studies, on the greater good.

And as Deagol wheeled her away from her son, Anastasia felt a sense of relief. She had made the right choice, no matter how painful it was. She had to stay true to herself, to her goals, to her purpose. And in that moment, she knew she had done the right thing..
