A man’s body was tragically discovered stuffed in a bag in Surjani Town, Lyari 36A, and has now been identified as 35-year-old Shahnawaz Mazari. Shahnawaz, a resident of New Karachi and an employee at a hairdresser’s shop, had been missing for two days before his lifeless body was found on Wednesday morning.

According to Ghulam Sarwar Mazari, the uncle of the deceased, Shahnawaz had contacted his family on Tuesday night and mentioned that he would be bringing items for Sehri. However, after the call, his phone was switched off, causing concern among his family members. They embarked on a search for him, even visiting the Bilal Colony and Surjani Town police stations, but unfortunately, their efforts yielded no results. It wasn’t until Thursday that they received a call from the Surjani Town police station informing them of the discovery of a body, later identified as Shahnawaz Mazari.

Shahnawaz was a polygamist, having two wives, and his second marriage had taken place just ten months prior. He leaves behind three daughters. Ghulam Sarwar revealed that the deceased’s body would be transported to Larkana for burial, where he will be laid to rest.
