Teen Boy Charged in Bronx Subway Shooting

In a recent incident that shocked the Bronx community, a 14-year-old boy has been charged in connection with a shooting at a subway station that resulted in the death of a bystander and injuries to five others. The tragic event took place at the Mount Eden Avenue uptown 4 train station last month, sending shockwaves throughout the neighborhood.

Victims of the Shooting

Among those affected by the shooting was a 35-year-old man, identified as Obed Beltran-Sanchez, who was tragically shot and killed while waiting at the station. In addition to the bystander, a 14-year-old girl, a 15-year-old boy, and three adults aged 28, 29, and 71 were also injured in the altercation. Some of the victims were reportedly involved in the dispute, while others were innocent bystanders waiting for the train.
