Man Arrested in Washington After Woman’s Body Found in South Dakota
A man from Detroit, Anthony Harris, has been arrested in Washington following the discovery of a woman’s body at a travel center in South Dakota. The victim, Melody Fae Gooch, 57, was found at the Mitchell I-90 Travel Center on Monday night.
Suspect Charged with Second-Degree Murder
Anthony Harris, aged 50, has been charged with second-degree murder and improper disposal in connection with the death of Melody Fae Gooch. Authorities made the grim discovery at 10:54 p.m. on Monday, March 11, at the Mitchell I-90 Travel Center.

Attorney General Jackley stated, “We have been working to notify Melody’s family members, collect evidence, and analyze security videos.
