The victim, Judy Poe, aged 79, was discovered lifeless on March 12 in Siletz, a small community located on the Oregon coast. The perpetrator of this heinous crime was none other than her own son, Robert Bruce Poe, aged 56.

When authorities arrived at the scene on East Logsden Road, they were met with a gruesome sight. Judy Poe was found with a large wooden stake protruding from her throat, suspected to be a fragment of a broken gardening tool.
