Accident – Death – Obituary News : The Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) of the Punjab police has made significant strides in cracking down on criminal activities in the state. Two associates of the notorious Gurpreet Lehmbar and Jassa Nurwala gang have been apprehended by the AGTF, further disrupting the operations of these dangerous criminals.

The individuals, identified as Jagdeep Singh alias Rinku and Balwinder Singh alias Babbu, were confirmed to be involved in a range of heinous crimes including murder, attempted murder, kidnapping, and extortion in various areas of Punjab. The Director General of Police (DGP) Punjab police commended the efforts of the AGTF in apprehending these individuals, highlighting the threat they posed to public safety.

Rinku, a proclaimed offender in a Moga attempted murder case, and Babbu, who had evaded authorities since firing at an STF team in Ludhiana, are known to have operated under the instructions of Lehmbar and Nurwala. The duo’s arrest has not only disrupted their criminal activities but also led to the recovery of two pistols and 10 live cartridges.

In a related incident, another suspect involved in a recent shooting at Katani Premium Dhaba in Mohali was detained by the AGTF. The primary interrogation of the individual, identified as Amritpal Singh alias Nannu, revealed the identities of two other fugitives, Rana and Arshjot, linked to the same event. These individuals were associated with the Davinder Bambiha Gang, further underscoring the complex web of criminal activities in the region.

Additionally, the fourth suspect, Feroz, implicated in the incident, was apprehended by the Haryana police, indicating a coordinated effort to tackle criminal elements across state borders. The swift actions of the AGTF and law enforcement agencies have sent a clear message that criminal activities will not be tolerated in Punjab, and those involved will be brought to justice..
