Man Indicted on Murder Charges Following Deadly Stabbing in Old Town, Portland
In a recent development in Portland, Oregon, a 33-year-old man has been indicted on two charges related to a fatal stabbing incident that occurred in the Old Town neighborhood back in January. According to the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office, Jesse James Harold faces charges of second-degree murder and unlawful use of a weapon in connection to the death of 32-year-old Deante Dean Watts.

The tragic incident unfolded on the morning of January 12, when authorities responded to a stabbing at the intersection of Northwest Naito Parkway and Northwest Everett Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered Watts with serious injuries, and he was rushed to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his wounds.

Following an intensive investigation, Jesse James Harold was identified as the prime suspect in the case and subsequently apprehended.
