LONGVIEW, Wash. (KATU) — A 14-year-old boy bravely defended his mother from a home intruder in Longview, Washington on Tuesday night, resulting in severe injuries for both victims, according to the Longview Police Department.
Details of the Incident
At approximately 8:20 p.m. on March 12, authorities responded to a disturbance call at a residence in Longview, Washington. Upon arrival, officers found Branson Luck, 22, outside the home with blood on his hands and pants. Luck was immediately detained for further investigation.
Upon entering the residence, officers discovered a 31-year-old woman and her 14-year-old son had been stabbed. Both victims sustained severe but non-life-threatening injuries from the attack. Detectives were able to recover the knife used in the stabbing, along with other crucial evidence.
