Accident – Death – Obituary News :

Man Accused of Murder Goes Live From Bareilly Central Jail

In a bizarre turn of events, a video of a murder suspect hosting a live show on social media platform Instagram has sent shockwaves through Bareilly Central Jail in Uttar Pradesh. The man, identified as Asif, appeared in the video claiming to be in heaven and expressing his enjoyment of the situation, all while hinting at an impending release.

The 2-minute clip shows Asif interacting with viewers, stating, “I am in heaven, and enjoying it. I will soon get out.” This brazen display of confidence and nonchalance has raised serious security concerns at the prison.

During the live video, Asif made startling remarks about the value of relationships over money, offering to lend money to anyone in need. The video has since gone viral, prompting Deputy Inspector General (Prison) Kuntal Kishore to launch an investigation into the matter.

Investigation Underway

Kishore confirmed that the video had come to his attention, and he assured that a thorough investigation is currently underway. He stated, “A probe in the matter is underway. After investigation, legal action will be taken against whoever is found guilty.”

Asif, along with his accomplice Rahul Chaudhury, was arrested in connection with the daylight murder of Rakesh Yadav, a 34-year-old contractor from the Public Works Department (PWD) in 2019. The duo’s brazen actions and Asif’s subsequent live stream have left authorities scrambling to address the breach in security and maintain order within the prison.

The shocking nature of the video and the implications it holds for the justice system in Uttar Pradesh have sparked outrage among the public, with many calling for swift and decisive action to be taken against those responsible.

As the investigation continues and authorities work to secure the prison facility, the incident serves as a stark reminder of the challenges faced by law enforcement in maintaining order and security in correctional institutions.
