The incident took place at around 2:30 p.m. on Thursday at a residence located on the 1300 block of Ivey Point Drive. This quiet suburban neighborhood was shaken by the violent altercation that unfolded within its midst.
Law enforcement officers swiftly responded to the scene and discovered a woman who had sustained a gunshot wound to her rear shoulder. The victim was promptly transported to a nearby hospital, where she remains in critical condition as medical professionals fight to save her life.
Suspect identified as Anthony Young, a resident of South Carolina
Following a thorough investigation, detectives determined that the alleged perpetrator behind this heinous act is the victim’s romantic partner, Anthony Young, a 37-year-old man hailing from South Carolina. Young is now wanted on multiple charges, including aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
