A shocking incident unfolded in Bengaluru as the lifeless body of a woman from Uzbekistan, identified as Zareena, was discovered in a hotel room near BDA Bridge. The woman had arrived in Bengaluru on a tourist visa just four days prior to the tragic event.

Discovery of the Crime Scene

The hotel staff received a distressing call from one of Zareena’s friends, prompting them to investigate her room at 10.30 p.m. on Wednesday night. Despite repeated attempts to elicit a response, there was no answer from inside the room. Upon using a master key to gain entry, the staff made a grim discovery – Zareena’s lifeless body lay on the floor, her face obscured by blood.

Preliminary Investigations and Suspicions

Authorities were promptly notified, and initial investigations indicated foul play. Evidence suggested that Zareena had sustained injuries to her face, indicating a violent altercation. The police are considering the possibility that she was strangled to death, with suspicion falling on a man named Rahul Kumar who had booked the room for Zareena until March 16.

Hotel Manager’s Involvement

Gaurav Kumar Singh, the hotel manager, lodged a formal complaint with the police following the discovery of Zareena’s body. The authorities have taken up the case for further investigation to shed light on the circumstances surrounding the woman’s untimely demise.
