A 66-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death of an elderly woman in Orange County. The suspect, identified as Raymond Craft by the Anaheim Police Department, was taken into custody on March 7.
Details of the Incident
The incident took place at a residence on the 100 block of Spruce Via in Anaheim on February 26. Anaheim police officers responded to the scene and discovered the lifeless body of a 72-year-old woman. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities later determined that the woman had been assaulted before her death, and her case was ruled a homicide. The victim’s identity has not been released to the public.
Arrest of Raymond Craft
Following an extensive investigation, Raymond Craft was identified as a suspect in the murder. He was apprehended in Fullerton on March 7 and is now facing murder charges. Craft is currently being held on $1 million bail.
