The harrowing ordeal began on March 1 when the victim, a 17-year-old girl, was picked up by Dourousseau around 8 p.m. The suspect then drove the girl to his home where he allegedly demanded sex from her. During her captivity, the girl was provided with minimal food and water while being forced to consume large amounts of alcohol by the suspect. Additionally, the girl was coerced into having sex with Dourousseau in exchange for her freedom. On March 7, the girl managed to escape from the vehicle and sought help at a nearby business on the 40700 block of Village Drive. Authorities were able to locate Dourousseau at his home in the 300 block of Los Angeles Avenue in Sugarloaf, a community close to Big Bear City, where he was taken into custody.

Dourousseau has been arrested on charges of kidnapping, false imprisonment, and statutory rape. A court hearing is scheduled for March 18 at the San Bernardino Superior Courthouse as the investigation into the incident continues.
