Accident – Death – Obituary News :

Abington Township Police are urging additional victims to come forward in the case of a man who posed as a nurse and is facing charges of sexually assaulting two women at an urgent care center. The incidents took place at the Carbon Health Urgent Care center located at 1585 The Fairway in the township’s Jenkintown section.

Concerns of Additional Victims

During a press conference held on Monday, Lt. Steve Fink expressed concern that there may be more victims involved in the case. Fink stated, “We are very concerned about additional victims. During conversations with the suspect, there may be additional victims. I’m not going to get into what he said. We are asking victims to come forward.”

Suspect Charged with Aggravated Indecent Assault

Ramon Garcia, a 36-year-old resident of Philadelphia, has been charged with aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault, and two counts of invasion of privacy in connection with the incidents at the urgent care center.

Police Implore the Public to Speak Out

Lt. Fink described Garcia as a “sick individual” who was preying on vulnerable women. He emphasized that there should be no shame in coming forward and urged the public to speak out against such reprehensible actions. Garcia is currently being held at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility on a cash bail of $99,000.

Company Cooperation and Employee Status

Carbon Health Urgent Care has been fully cooperating with the police investigation. The company confirmed that Garcia is no longer an employee and expressed shock and dismay at the allegations against him. Police have also added a charge of impersonating a licensed official to Garcia’s list of charges.

Details of the Assaults

The assaults took place during medical examinations at the urgent care center. In one instance, Garcia watched a woman urinate into a cup and then made advances towards her. In another incident, he conducted a pelvic exam on a different woman and made inappropriate verbal and physical advances.

Preliminary Hearing Scheduled

Garcia’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for next week, where further details of the case will be revealed. Police are continuing their investigation into Garcia’s prior employment and any potential additional incidents that may have occurred.

Overall, the community is encouraged to come forward with any information that may help in the investigation and prosecution of this disturbing case.
