The Alleged Culpable Homicide in Kwara State

Three suspects are currently in police custody in Kwara State for their alleged involvement in a case of culpable homicide. The suspects, identified as Ibrahim Abdullahi, Ismaila Ajirerin, and Adeola Adeosun, all residents of Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, are facing serious charges related to the death of Mr. Musibau Aliu.

The Disturbing Incident

The case was brought to light on March 10, 2024, when Mr. Olarenwaju Saliman reported the disappearance of his brother, Mr. Musibau Aliu, to the authorities. Mr. Aliu, who was the Chairman of the Tricycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (TOAN) in Idiose Alore, had left home on March 8th with his tricycle for commercial purposes and had not returned since.

The Gruesome Discovery

After extensive efforts to locate Mr. Aliu proved futile, the police received a tip-off on March 10th about a headless corpse found in an uncompleted building along Okolowo Expressway, by Daru-Salam Area. Upon investigation, it was confirmed that the deceased was indeed Mr. Musibau Aliu, as identified by his brother, Mr. Saliman.
