Tragic Accident at Gulberg Greens Marquee Leaves One Dead and Two Injured
In a devastating turn of events, a tragic accident occurred at a multi-story marquee located in the area of Gulberg Greens, Islamabad. The incident took place during repair work on a lift, resulting in the death of one labourer and injuries to two others.
Details of the Incident
According to the police, three staff members of an elevator company arrived at the marquee to repair a lift installed in the building. As they were working on the lift, it suddenly collapsed, causing all three labourers to sustain injuries. The victims were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Victims and Casualties
Tragically, one of the labourers, identified as Mohammad Fahad Nadeem, aged 20, succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital. The two injured individuals, Shan Ali and Zeeshan Ali, are currently receiving medical care for their wounds.
This unfortunate incident has left the community in shock and mourning the loss of a young life. The authorities are conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the lift collapse and ensure that such accidents are prevented in the future.
