US National Found Dead in Mumbai Five-Star Hotel
Mumbai: A 62-year-old US national, Mark Williams, was discovered lifeless in a luxurious five-star hotel room in the Andheri area of Mumbai on Tuesday morning. The incident took place at the JW Marriott Hotel in Sahar, Andheri East. Williams had arrived in Mumbai on March 9 and was scheduled to depart on March 14. He was in the city for a business meeting and had been staying at the hotel since his arrival.
The Mumbai Sahar police have initiated an investigation after registering an accidental death report. Authorities stated that there were no signs of foul play, with initial findings pointing towards natural causes as the cause of death. The body was subsequently transferred to Cooper Hospital in Vile Parle West for further examination.
The police were alerted to the incident around 10:00 am on Tuesday, prompting a swift response to the scene. Following standard procedures, the body was taken into police custody and sent to a nearby government hospital for a post-mortem examination.
