Motorist Released After Fatal Road Rage Shooting on I-80/94

After being detained for questioning in connection with a fatal road rage shooting on I-80/94, a motorist has been released from custody, according to a statement from the Indiana State Police.

Victim Identified as Mark Brant

The victim of the shooting has been identified as 55-year-old Mark Brant of Chesterton. His life was tragically cut short when he was found deceased in his crashed vehicle near Lake Station in the westbound lanes of I-80/94 just after 4 a.m. on March 6.

As the investigation continues, authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward and assist in bringing justice for Mark Brant and his loved ones.
