Drug Charges in Allen County Lead to Arrest of Two Individuals

In a recent incident in Scottsville, Kentucky, two individuals have been arrested on drug charges in Allen County. The Allen County Sheriff’s Office responded to Pleasant Field Church Road after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area.

Upon arrival, deputies found a woman, identified as Latasha Smith, and a man, identified as Jonathan Meador, 40, asleep in the vehicle. It was later discovered that Meador was in possession of a clear plastic bag containing methamphetamine and a methamphetamine pipe. Additionally, Smith was taken into custody on warrants for her arrest out of Barren County.

Charges and Transport to Detention Center

Both individuals are facing charges of first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and drug paraphernalia – buy/possess. Following their arrest, they were transported to the Allen County Detention Center.
