A tragic incident occurred in Jessup, Maryland on March 7, when a hit and run crash took place along Washington Boulevard. The victim of this unfortunate incident has been identified as Kevin Underdown, a 65-year-old resident of Columbia.
Details of the Incident
According to Howard County Police, the incident occurred around 7:15 p.m. in the area of Washington Boulevard just south of Route 175. It is believed that a white or silver Ford F-150 Raptor was travelling northbound on Washington Boulevard when it struck Underdown, who was crossing the street just south of Route 175. The vehicle then fled the scene, heading north on Washington Boulevard and then east on Route 175.
Underdown was pronounced dead at the scene, and police have stated that he was not in a crosswalk at the time of the collision. Authorities are appealing to the public for any information regarding the suspect vehicle or any witnesses who may have seen the incident.
