Two separate shootings in Norfolk have left one man dead and another critically injured, shocking the local community.
First Shooting Incident
The first shooting took place in the 500 block of Walker Avenue in Berkley around 12:43 p.m. on Tuesday. Police responded to reports of gunfire and found a man with a life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim, identified as 36-year-old Kerry L. White of Norfolk, was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Tragically, White succumbed to his injuries and passed away in the hospital, leaving family and friends devastated by the sudden loss.
Second Shooting Incident
Shortly after the first incident, another shooting occurred in the 1700 block of Campostella Road in Campostella Heights at around 1 a.m. on Wednesday. A man was found at the scene with critical injuries and was immediately transported to a hospital for urgent medical care.
