Accident – Death – Obituary News : Madurai: A 50-year-old blind woman was found dead with her hands and feet tied up with rope inside her house near Silaiman in Madurai district on Tuesday.

The deceased woman was identified as D Kavitha of Blind colony, Sathya Nagar, Kalmedu, Madurai. She was married to Daniel Arumugam who passed away around two years ago. The couple had a daughter who is currently studying in Class XII at a school by staying in a hostel in Usilampatti.

On Tuesday, when Kavitha did not come out of the house for an extended period, concerned neighbors decided to check on her. To their shock, they found her lying dead on the floor inside the house. Her hands and feet were tied up with cloth and rope, and her mouth was gagged with cloth. The Silaiman police have registered a case and are currently investigating the matter.

The body of the deceased has been recovered and sent for post-mortem examination. The police are exploring various angles, including the possibility of a murder for gain as valuables were reported missing from the house.

In other recent news articles, a 36-year-old woman from Hyderabad was found murdered in Australia. Her husband allegedly flew back to Hyderabad after killing her and handed over their child to her parents. The woman’s body was discovered in a wheelie bin on the side of a road in Buckley.

Additionally, five people, including three children, were found dead in Honolulu, in what appears to be a murder-suicide. The husband reportedly stabbed his wife and kids, while the cause of his death is still under investigation.
