Four Killed in Tragic Road Accident in Chandina, Cumilla
Early Tuesday morning, tragedy struck on the Dhaka-Chattogram Highway in Chandina upazila of Cumilla as four people lost their lives and three others were injured in a devastating road accident.
Details of the Incident
The accident took place at around 5:30 am in the Belasar area of Chandina. The victims, identified as Monir Hossain, Habibur Rahman, Akhter Hossain, and Rafiqul Islam, were involved in a horrific collision.
According to Manjurul Alam Mollah, the officer-in-charge of Eliotganj Highway Police Station, a truck carrying fish from Noakhali and bound for Dhaka overturned and crashed into a parked truck in Belasar. The impact of the collision resulted in the tragic deaths of the four workers on the truck.
