Jody Huffman, the school bus from Schuyler-Industry Schools was traveling eastbound when it inexplicably crossed the center line into the westbound lanes, colliding with a semitruck carrying sand. Both vehicles erupted in flames upon impact, resulting in the loss of all four individuals on the bus, including three children and the driver, as well as the semitruck driver.
Victims Identified
The victims of the crash have been identified as 3-year-olds Noah Driscoll and Andrew Miller, 5-year-old Maria Miller, 57-year-old Angela Spiker, all from Rushville, Illinois, and 72-year-old David Coufal from Browning, Illinois.
