On Monday, a devastating collision between a school bus and a semi-truck resulted in the loss of three preschoolers and two adults in Rushville, Illinois. The incident took place on U.S. Highway 24 at approximately 11:30 a.m., leaving both vehicles engulfed in flames after impact, as reported by the Illinois State Police (ISP).

The school bus, carrying three young children, tragically claimed the lives of all passengers on board, including the drivers. The adult victims were identified as 72-year-old David Coufal of Browning and 57-year-old Angela Spiker of Rushville. The children, who attended Schuyler-Industry Schools and hailed from Rushville, were named as 5-year-old Maria Miller, 3-year-old Andrew Miller, and 3-year-old Noah Driscoll.
