Two pedestrians lost their lives in a tragic accident in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, when a speeding car struck them while they were walking on the roadside. The incident occurred late on Sunday night and was captured by CCTV cameras in the area.
Three individuals, identified as Moin, Aqueel Ahmed, and Tahir, were walking along a deserted road when a speeding car suddenly collided with them, throwing them into the air before they landed on the road. Sadly, Moin and Aqueel Ahmed succumbed to their injuries at the scene, while Tahir was left in critical condition.
Police Investigation Underway
Police official Jitendra Kumar Singh stated that a case has been registered under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) in relation to the incident. The car and its driver have yet to be identified, and investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the accident.
