Mangaluru, Mar 11: A grim discovery shook the quiet neighbourhood near Kujumagadde of Kumpala when the decomposed remains of a man were found inside a house. The shocking incident has left the community in disbelief, raising questions about the circumstances surrounding the tragic event. It is suspected that the individual took his own life three days prior, resulting in the advanced state of decomposition that greeted the authorities.
The deceased has been identified as Kiran Kumar (48), a hardworking individual who dedicated his time to the housekeeping department of a private hospital in Deralakatte. Kiran’s mysterious disappearance on March 7 sent shockwaves through his circle of friends and colleagues, who never imagined such a tragic end for him.
Locals in the area became alarmed on Sunday when a foul odour permeated the air around Kiran’s residence. Concerned citizens immediately contacted the Ullal police, initiating a sequence of events that would uncover the heartbreaking truth. In the presence of Deepak Pilar, a dedicated member of the Someshwara municipality, authorities made the gruesome discovery of Kiran’s heavily decomposed body, hanging lifelessly inside the house.
The police wasted no time in dispatching the body for post-mortem examination, hoping to shed light on the mysterious circumstances surrounding Kiran’s untimely demise.
