Pran RFL Group Official Killed in Tragic Accident in Dhaka

In a tragic incident this morning, an official of Pran RFL Group lost his life after being hit by a truck in Dhaka’s 300-Feet area. The deceased, identified as Kafil Uddin, 47, was a general manager (operations) at RFL Group, according to Mehedi Ripon, the manager of human resources at the company.

The accident occurred around 8:00 am when Kafil Uddin was crossing the road to go to his office in Badda. After being struck by the truck, he was immediately taken to Kurmitola General Hospital with severe injuries. He was later transferred to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where he tragically passed away around 10:00 am, as confirmed by Inspector Bachchu Mia, in-charge of the DMCH police outpost.

Originally from Kaliganj upazila in Gazipur, Kafil resided in Bashundhara Residential Area with his wife and son. The body has been sent to the DMCH morgue for further examination through an autopsy.

This heartbreaking incident serves as a reminder of the importance of road safety and the need for vigilance while commuting in busy areas. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and loved ones of Kafil Uddin during this difficult time.
