The Bucks County Coroner’s Office Identifies Victim of Fatal Fire in Morrisville Borough
The Bucks County Coroner’s Office has identified the individual who tragically lost their life in a fire that occurred at Orchard View Apartments in Morrisville Borough. The victim, Jacyr J. Rock, 28, from Morrisville Borough, was found deceased at the scene of the incident. The cause of death is still under investigation.
Emergency responders, including the Morrisville Fire Company and firefighters from surrounding areas in Lower Bucks County, were dispatched to the apartment complex on Plaza Boulevard early on Saturday morning following reports of a fire. Upon arrival, they were met with a two-story building engulfed in flames, with fire officials noting that the blaze had breached the roof.
Firefighting efforts continued for several hours as crews worked tirelessly to extinguish the flames and prevent further damage. Unfortunately, multiple apartments were affected by the fire, leading to the displacement of several residents.
In response to the emergency, the American Red Cross was on-site to provide assistance and support to those affected by the fire. Meanwhile, the fire marshal launched an investigation to determine the cause of the blaze and any contributing factors.
