Tragic Road Accident Claims Three Lives in Singra, Bangladesh
In a devastating turn of events, a road accident on the Bamihal-Durgapur road in Ranirhat area under Singra upazila of Bangladesh has claimed the lives of three individuals, including two siblings. The deceased have been identified as Mosommat Hosne Ara Begum, 45, wife of Abdus Sattar, a resident of Bankurail village of Singra upazila, Md Imran Hossain, 22, and Md Rabbi Hossain, 18, sons of Abdul Momin, residents of the same area.
The accident occurred when a truck collided with a battery-run auto van around 12.30pm, resulting in the tragic deaths of three passengers of the van. The group was on their way to Durgapur Bazar from Bankurail village when the incident took place.
The injured individual was promptly taken to Sherpur Upazila Health Complex for medical attention. Meanwhile, the police recovered the bodies of the deceased from the scene and sent them to Natore Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy. The authorities also seized the truck involved in the accident and arrested the driver and helper for further investigation.
Authorities have filed a case in connection with the tragic incident as investigations continue to determine the exact cause of the accident and hold those responsible accountable for their actions.
