Body of Swechchhasebak Dal Leader Found in Lalmonirhat

On Monday, the police made a grim discovery in Nijpara, a small village in Sadar upazila of Lalmonirhat district. The body of Swechchhasebak Dal leader, Ferdous Ahmed, was recovered from a road near a primary school. The 40-year-old president of Khuniagach union unit Swechchhasebak Dal was the son of Nurul Haque, a local resident.

Discovery of the Body

According to reports, local residents spotted the body of Faruk in the morning and immediately informed the authorities. Omar Faruk, the officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station, stated that the body showed signs of foul play and was swiftly taken to a nearby hospital morgue for further examination.

Faruk had left his home on Sunday morning to attend a party event and never returned. The police suspect that he was murdered elsewhere and his body was dumped in Nijpara to conceal the crime.
