Accident – Death – Obituary News : A devastating tragedy unfolded in the Penjaringan district of North Jakarta on Saturday (9 March), where a family of four was discovered dead after allegedly falling from the 22nd floor of an apartment building. The incident, suspected to be a coordinated suicide, has left the local community reeling and searching for answers.

The family, consisting of a husband (AE) and wife (AIL), along with their two children, a boy (JWA, 13 years old) and a girl (JL, 16 years old), were found lifeless outside the Teluk Intan Apartment Tower Topas in Penjaringan. Authorities, led by The Head of the Metro Penjaringan Police Sector, Police Commissioner Agus Ady Wijaya, have launched investigations to determine the underlying reasons behind the family’s tragic actions.

Initial reports indicate that the family had meticulously planned for their fatal decision. CCTV footage revealed their careful preparations, from arriving at the apartment in a vehicle to kissing goodbye before ascending the emergency staircase and leaping from the rooftop. Despite having a residence within the complex, they had not been living there for the past two years, raising questions about their recent activities and mental state.

The discovery of the victims was initially made by security personnel in the apartment lobby, who heard a loud thud. Upon inspection, the bodies were found with severe head injuries and multiple fractures, indicating the force of impact from the fall. The authorities swiftly transported the corpses to the Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital for further examination.
