Disturbing Attack on Businessman at Haryana Dhaba
A chilling incident unfolded at Gulshan Dhaba in Murthal, Haryana, leaving a businessman fatally wounded. The victim, identified as Sunder Malik, a 38-year-old liquor trader from Saragthal village in Gohana, was attacked in his SUV while he was sleeping. The assailants, captured on CCTV, dragged him out of his vehicle and mercilessly shot him, leaving him incapacitated.

The CCTV footage from the dhaba shows Malik, dressed in an orange hoodie and trousers, struggling to free himself from the grip of one attacker while the other continues to fire bullets at him. The scene is reminiscent of a recent incident where an INLD leader met a similar fate in Jhajjar, highlighting the escalating violence in the region.
Police Launch Thorough Investigation
Authorities, responding to the dhaba owner’s alert, arrived at the scene to find evidence of approximately 35 rounds being fired. Eight teams have been formed to track down and apprehend the perpetrators responsible for this heinous act. Police officer Gaurav Rajpurohit stated that the investigation is ongoing, with discussions with the victim’s family members playing a crucial role in determining the motive behind the attack.
Suspected Gang-Related Conflict
While the exact motive behind the attack remains unclear, authorities have not ruled out the possibility of a gang-related conflict. This tragic incident draws parallels to the assassination of Nafe Singh Rathi, the Haryana unit president of the Indian National Lok Dal, who suffered a similar fate in Jhajjar district.
