The first incident occurred near North Bay Road, where Alsaccal reportedly brandished a “blunt shiny weapon” at a victim. Fortunately, the victim was unharmed, but the encounter left a lasting impact. Alsaccal faces attempted aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in connection to this incident.
The second incident took place on Collins Avenue, as four individuals were making their way back from a local temple service. Alsaccal allegedly charged at them with a sharp object, threatening to harm them. The most recent incident occurred on Saturday morning along Collins Avenue. Two victims, also wearing orthodox Jewish clothing, were reading the Torah on their way to a synagogue when Alsaccal approached them. Following the incidents, Sunny Isles Beach Police were able to track down Alsaccal and arrest him on Collins Avenue. A silver pen found in his possession was taken as evidence. Alsaccal now faces charges for making credible threats based on religious/ethnic heritage and attempted aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
