In the early hours of Saturday morning, tragedy struck near the intersection of 4th Street and Indiana Avenue in Lubbock, Texas. The Lubbock Police Department responded to a call regarding a collision with injuries at 2:28 a.m., where they found 39-year-old Mistrang Ndikum in the roadway, suffering from serious injuries.
The Victim
Mistrang Ndikum, a 39-year-old individual, was identified as the victim of this fatal crash. He was taken to University Medical Center by EMS for treatment of his injuries but unfortunately, he later succumbed to those injuries. According to the Lubbock Police Department, Ndikum was in the westbound lane of traffic on 4th Street when he was first struck by a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Gavin Gomez. Tragically, moments later, Ndikum was hit by a second vehicle driven by 30-year-old Amanda Villarreal. The sequence of events leading to Ndikum’s passing is under investigation by authorities.
