Tragic Accident on Mount Washington Claims Life of 20-Year-Old Woman
A devastating incident unfolded on Mount Washington in New Hampshire, resulting in the tragic death of a 20-year-old woman. Madison Saltsburg lost her life after a fatal fall of 600 feet while skiing in the renowned backcountry area of Tuckerman Ravine, as confirmed by officials from the U.S. Forest Service.
The challenging conditions faced by Saltsburg and her skiing companion included hard, icy snow surfaces, open crevasse holes, and unforgiving terrain that led to the fatal accident.
