According to Iredell County Sheriff Darren Campbell, Justin Michael Strawser was engaged in a violent standoff with deputies outside a home in Mooresville. Wearing a bulletproof vest, Strawser opened fire on the deputies, leading to his own demise. Fortunately, the deputies and four minor children inside the home emerged unscathed from the harrowing ordeal.

Gruesome Discovery at the First House

Deputies had initially responded to reports of shots fired at a different Mooresville home, where they made a gruesome discovery.
