Arrest Made in Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash in Pico Rivera, Los Angeles County
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has announced a major breakthrough in a fatal hit-and-run case that shook the community of Pico Rivera in March 2023. The incident took place on a quiet street, where 36-year-old Yesenia Sanchez lost her life, and 35-year-old Virginia Saucedo sustained severe injuries.
After weeks of intensive investigation, authorities were able to track down and arrest 28-year-old Juan Figueroa Sanchez of Garden Grove. He is the registered owner of the vehicle involved in the tragic accident that claimed the life of Yesenia Sanchez. However, the plot thickens as it was revealed that it was actually Sanchez’s 15-year-old brother who was behind the wheel at the time of the collision.
