Amaravati Doctor Dies While Trekking in Brisbane

A Telugu woman doctor from Andhra Pradesh tragically lost her life while trekking in Brisbane, Australia. The deceased, identified as Ujjwala from Gannavaram in Krishna district, had pursued her MBBS at Bond University, Gold Coast, before working at the Royal Brisbane Women’s Hospital.

Tragic Accident in Brisbane

On March 2nd, Ujjwala was enjoying a trekking adventure with her friends when a fatal accident occurred. She reportedly slipped and fell into a steep valley, leading to her untimely demise. The news of her passing has left her family and loved ones devastated.

Childhood Dream Cut Short

Ujjwala had aspired to become a doctor since her early years, and she fulfilled that dream by becoming a successful medical professional. However, fate had a different plan as her life was tragically cut short during the hiking trip in Brisbane.

Final Journey Home

Following the unfortunate incident, Ujjwala’s body was repatriated to her hometown in Andhra Pradesh for the final rites. Her grieving parents, Vemuru Maithili and Venkateswara Rao, who have been residing in Australia for a considerable period, expressed profound sorrow over the loss of their daughter.

The mortal remains of Ujjwala were taken to her grandfather’s residence in Elukapadu, under the Unguturu mandal limits, where the last rites were performed amidst a somber atmosphere.
