The Zebra Coalition Hosts Vigil in Memory of Nex Benedict
ORLANDO, Fla. — The Zebra Coalition is holding a vigil to celebrate the life of Nex Benedict, a nonbinary 16-year-old high school student who tragically passed away after a fight at Owasso High School in Oklahoma. Nex, who used they/them pronouns, was a beloved member of the LGBTQ+ community.

The vigil, organized by the local LGBTQ+ community, aims to celebrate Nex’s life and honor their legacy as a courageous and kind-hearted individual. The vigil will take place on Saturday, March 9 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at The Center Orlando, located at 946 N Mills Avenue. All are welcome to attend and pay their respects to Nex and other individuals who have lost their lives due to intolerance and hate.
