Accident – Death – Obituary News : A 61-year-old woman tragically passed away on Saturday afternoon after collapsing at a program organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Nagpur, Maharashtra. The incident occurred at the Suresh Bhatt Sabhagruha in the Reshimbagh area, where a function was being held by the BJP’s Nagpur city unit.

The Kotwali police station in Nagpur reported that the incident took place around 10.30 am during the distribution of kitchen appliances and utensils to construction workers. A large crowd had gathered outside the gates of the sabhagruha, leading to chaos and confusion.

The woman, identified as Manu Tulshiram Rajput from the Hudkeshwar area of Nagpur, fell unconscious amidst the crowd and was immediately taken to a nearby government hospital. Tragically, she was pronounced dead upon arrival. Several other women also complained of feeling unwell and were rushed to the hospital for medical attention.

Authorities revealed that the weather was extremely hot at the time of the incident, and the crowd was standing under the scorching sun without adequate access to water. An investigation is underway to determine if proper arrangements were made for the well-being of the attendees.

Following the incident, an Accidental Death Report was filed at the Kotwali police station, and further action will be taken based on the findings of the investigation. This unfortunate incident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of ensuring the safety and well-being of all individuals attending public events.
