Drug Arrest in Darke County Leads to Ohio Man’s Arrest

A recent drug investigation in Darke County, Ohio, resulted in the arrest of a 39-year-old man from Houston, Ohio. The incident took place on March 7, when Darke County Deputies stopped a vehicle at the 3600 block of State Route 49.

Identification of the Suspect

The driver of the vehicle, identified as Lester Bergman, was found to be in possession of illegal narcotics/drugs. K9 Bear, a police dog, was deployed during the investigation and alerted to the presence of illegal substances in the vehicle.

Discovery of Narcotics

Upon searching the vehicle, deputies discovered several baggies containing a white powdery substance believed to be methamphetamine and cocaine. Bergman was taken into custody and is currently being held at the Darke County Jail awaiting charges.
