Fort Worth police are appealing to the public for any information or video footage regarding a tragic hit-and-run accident that claimed the life of a 33-year-old man in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Details of the Incident

The incident took place in the 4900 block of Parkview Hills Lane in northwest Fort Worth, where officers responded shortly after 6:45 a.m. The victim, identified as Joseph Alexander Taylor Harris by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s website, was found lying in the middle of the intersection of Parkview Hills Lane and Brookstone Lane and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police suspect that Harris was struck by a vehicle whose driver fled the scene without providing assistance. The Homicide and Traffic Units are currently conducting an investigation, but as of now, no suspects have been identified.
