Accident – Death – Obituary News : Indore: A 45-year-old trader tragically died by suicide at his home in South Gadrakhedi area on Friday. The man, identified as Ajay, was reportedly reeling under debts which ultimately led him to take this extreme step.

According to ACP Vivek Chouhan, Ajay, who resided in Sadar Bazaar area of Indore, passed away late on Thursday night after consuming poison. The Sadar Bazaar police mentioned that Ajay, son of Ramkishan Verma, succumbed after 24 hours of treatment.

Family members shared that Ajay worked as a plumber in the Chandan Nagar area. On Wednesday, he had met his brother-in-law Nihal and asked for some money before heading back home. Being the eldest among four siblings, Ajay had not gotten married due to his family responsibilities. The family expressed that they were unaware of the reasons behind his death or his whereabouts on Wednesday, as his mobile phone was found with him.

Authorities suspect that Ajay was facing financial debts in his business, which might have contributed to his decision to end his life. The police are planning to gather more information by interviewing the family members and employees to understand the full picture.

After the postmortem examination, Ajay’s body was handed over to his family. This tragic incident sheds light on the mental health struggles that individuals may face, especially in times of financial distress.
