A tragic incident unfolded in South Delhi as a 29-year-old gym trainer, Gaurav Singhal, was brutally stabbed at least 15 times in the face and chest at his home just a few hours before his wedding on the intervening night of March 6 and 7. Arrest Made in Connection with the Murder
Delhi Police swiftly took action and arrested the main accused in the killing – the victim’s own father. The father, whose name has not been disclosed, confessed to the crime with no remorse during police interrogation. It was revealed that the father and son had a strained relationship, leading to this tragic outcome.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Ankit Chauhan provided insights into the investigation, stating that the police received a distress call around 12:30 am on March 7. Singhal was rushed to Max hospital by his family but was declared dead upon arrival. The wedding ceremony, which was meant to be a joyous occasion, turned into a scene of mourning.
